ARRB Systems has recently completed a custom build Hawkeye 2000 system for the Department of Highways (DOH) Thailand, which is their second system in the last two years.

The system comprises a vehicle-mounted profiler enabling the collection of longitudinal profile, rutting, roughness (IRI) and macrotexture (MPD and SMTD), a geometry module and both asset and pavement cameras.

DOH uses the Hawkeye systems to collect data on one of their new motorways, the Bang Pa-In–Nakhon Ratchasima Intercity Motorway (M6), which is aimed at improving road accessibility and safety for road users.

The M6 Motorway is approximately 193 kilometres and will be open to the public in 2023.
