ARRB Systems US office this week received notification the intelligent Pavement Assessment Vehicle (iPAVe) has passed the National Center for Asphalt Technology (NCAT) rigorous longitudinal profiler certification.

The NCAT test track is a proving ground for asphalt pavement research, and is one of only a few facilities in the United States to certify inertial profilers and drivers; Running the iPAVe over NCAT’s wide range of surface profiles, the comprehensive certification process also confirms the Hawkeye iPAVe can collect both structural and surface condition data measurements, while also meeting AASHTO’s R56 industry standard.

Well done to the team for their efforts!
