ARRB Systems Partners with TxDOT Houston to Drive Data-Driven Maintenance

Last week, ARRB Systems had the privilege of joining the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Houston District for their quarterly maintenance supervisors’ meeting. With over 50 key team members in attendance, the session focused on a critical goal: transforming complex roadway data into clear, actionable maintenance decisions.

The presentation introduced our intelligent Pavement Assessment Vehicle (iPAVe) technologies, which are set to begin a comprehensive assessment across the Houston District’s vast network. By collecting both structural and surface data in One Pass at highway speeds, the iPAVe provides the high-resolution insights necessary to:

  • Avoid unnecessary maintenance actions.
  • Pinpoint hidden structural deterioration before it reaches the surface.
  • Enable long-term, evidence-based budget planning.

The session concluded with a hands-on guided tour of the iPAVe, allowing supervisors to see the “genesis of the data” firsthand. As part of our four-year statewide contract with TxDOT, ARRB Systems remains committed to providing the technical expertise and reliable data required to build safer, more resilient roads across the Lone Star State.
