ARRB Systems US office this week received notification the intelligent Pavement Assessment Vehicle (iPAVe) has passed the National Center for Asphalt Technology (NCAT) rigorous longitudinal profiler certification. The NCAT test track is a proving ground for asphalt pavement research, and is one of only a few facilities in the United States to certify inertial profilers and drivers. Running the iPAVe over NCAT’s wide range of surface profiles, the comprehensive certification process also confirms the Hawkeye iPAVe can collect both structural and surface condition data measurements,

He brings significant experience in pavement technology, data collection and management, having worked previously at Cartegraph and Applied Pavement Technology. In January 2007 we commissioned a Hawkeye 2000 System for the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai, UAE. In January this year our team carried out a maintenance service on the system and found it to be in excellent working order!A testament to the robustness of the equipment and the dedication of RTA’s team to keep it in top shape!
