JOB SUMMARY:

To influence work streams in Road Asset Management Systems through Data Collections, Analysis, Quality Assurance and Reporting; thereby ensuring optimal levels of accuracy, efficiency, and compliance to the highest standards of quality and safety.

WORK EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• 5 years of operational experience as a GIS Technician with sound exposure to project planning (all phases)
• Computer Literacy- MS Office Suite, ArcGIS
• Project management principles.
• Database management.
• Editing and full build of shapefiles/geodatabases
• Extensive knowledge of ArcGIS, QGIS, ArcGIS Pro, ArcPad, Python, SQL.
• Programming ArcGIS environment for automation.

QUALIFICATION

• Degree in Environmental Science/ Environmental Management / GIS
