This commitment was on full display during Synergy Week, held recently at our ARRB Systems South Africa office. The event brought together key team members and associates from across regions to share knowledge, refine processes, and strategize for the future.
A Week of Learning and Innovation
The Synergy Week was designed to provide both new and senior team members with a deep dive into ARRB Systems’ operations and diverse service offerings. Through interactive discussions, technical training, and collaborative sessions, participants explored:

- Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) Data Collection & Analysis – Enhancing road safety assessments and pavement investigations.
- Design Investigations & Pavement Assessments – Leveraging advanced methodologies for sustainable infrastructure.
- Friction Testing at Airports – Ensuring optimal runway conditions for safety and performance.
- Road Safety Assessments – Identifying high-risk areas and developing data-driven solutions for accident prevention.
- Future Trends in Road, Rail & Airport Infrastructure – Exploring emerging technologies and innovations that will shape the industry.
One of the key highlights of the event was a strategy roundtable discussion, where senior team members engaged in thought-provoking conversations about the future of infrastructure assessment. As part of this, the MD of Rail Systems Singapore PTE Ltd, Ajmer Singh Kairon, joined the discussions to explore the next phase of ARRB Railways, focusing on data collection and management innovations.
With representatives from various regions, Synergy Week provided a valuable platform to align goals and strengthen our global operations. As a special treat, attendees also got an exclusive virtual tour of the new ARRB Systems building, showcasing the latest technology that will drive our future research and development. The insights and collaborations from Synergy Week will help us continue delivering world-class solutions and driving safer, more efficient transport networks globally.
