RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Drive, operate and support high-tech data collection vehicles (tractor-trailer, tanker or cargo van), mounted with various sensors to collect pavement and roadway data.
• Long distance driving to collect road survey data across various project sites and locations in the United States and Canada.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Valid CDL license is essential, with 2 years+ driving experience
• Current medical examiner’s certificate
• Must be able to travel up to 75% (field/office ratio is 75/25) during peak season
• Long-distance driving skills
• Solid computer knowledge including experience with MS Excel and Windows environments
• High school diploma and post-high school certificate programs
• Attention to detail and pride in quality of work
• Positive can-do attitude and a team player
• Must be able to adapt to rapidly changing circumstances
• Must be a self-starter and take initiative

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Electronics and mechanical knowledge
• Good navigational skills
• Past military experience preferred
