ARRB Systems had the privilege of participating in the Profiler Rodeo at ICART, the Illinois DOT test track, held from October 28th to November 8th, 2024. The event was designed to evaluate a wide range of road profiling technologies, from latest vehicle-mounted profilers to traditional methods like the Dipstick.
At the event, ARRB Systems showcased two of our premier systems:
- The Hawkeye 2000 system (featuring GoCator line lasers), mounted on our NSV5 vehicle.
- The Walking Profiler, a reliable tool for surface evaluation.
Our participation served multiple goals:
- Support Illinois DOT’s research by providing valuable data from our systems and fostering stronger collaboration.
- Work toward certification of our GoCator-based Hawkeye 2000 system at ICART.
- Enhance our understanding of how GoCator lasers interact with various pavement types and surface textures.
We successfully collected data using the Hawkeye 2000/NSV and Walking Profiler, submitting it to Illinois DOT for research and certification purposes. This collaboration enhanced our partnership with Illinois DOT and provided valuable repeat data essential for advancing our GoCator-based Hawkeye 2000 profiler technology.
We look forward to continuing to innovate in road profiling technologies.
