Brazil currently manages a vast road network of approximately 1.7 million kilometres; however, only 12–15% of these roads are paved. Bridging this significant infrastructure gap requires more than just construction—it demands smarter investment, rigorous data collection, and long-term strategic planning.
To address these challenges, ARRB Systems recently participated in Brazil’s 6ª Semana de Planejamento (Planning Week). Organised by CGPlan (General Coordination of Investment Planning and Programming), DNIT (National Department of Transport Infrastructure), and the Ministry of Transport, the event serves as a critical forum for government leaders, researchers, and industry experts to shape the future of Brazilian transport.
Representing the ARRB Systems–Dynatest consortium were Laís Araújo, Frederico Rodrigues, Andre Policarpo, and Thaís Vieira. Our team engaged with key stakeholders to discuss how high-level pavement assessment and data-driven insights can optimise the planning and programming of road investments across the country.
As a proud partner of DNIT, ARRB Systems remains committed to providing the technical expertise necessary to transform Brazil’s federal highways. Through our ongoing collaboration, we are helping to ensure that every real invested in the network is backed by world-class infrastructure intelligence.
