In collaboration with the South African Road Federation (SARF) Eastern Cape branch, SANRAL, and Skyspec Technologies, ARRB Systems recently hosted a series of promotional roadshows in East London and Gqeberha.
The events provided an opportunity to showcase our innovative pavement evaluation technologies to local transport authorities, consulting engineers, and industry partners. The live sessions raised awareness and generated significant technical interest regarding the operational capabilities of our specialized data collection fleets.
Key Highlights from the Roadshow
The interactive events brought together stakeholders from across the infrastructure sector, focusing on the practical application of automated data collection.
- Continuous Deflection Measurement: Attendees showed considerable interest in the high-speed data capabilities of the iPAVe.
- Industry Feedback: The team received positive feedback from representatives of various transport departments and consulting engineering firms.
- Live Demonstrations: Attendees viewed live demonstrations of the ARRB vehicles and specialized testing equipment in action.
- Technical Sessions: Presentations covered critical asset management topics, including skid resistance, pavement evaluation, and our broader structural service offerings across Road Asset Management Systems (RAMS) and Bridge Management Systems (BMS).
The roadshows successfully strengthened our existing partnerships with SARF and surrounding industry bodies.
Supporting South African Road Networks
A substantial thank you goes out to SARF, with particular appreciation to Karien Venter and Tronél Candiotes-Strydom for their coordination and support. We value the collaborative effort to highlight the vital role that accurate data collection and asset management services play in supporting the longevity of South African road networks.
We look forward to expanding these technical roadshows across the region to continue supporting safer, smarter, and more sustainable road infrastructure.
