RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Undertake the coding/post-rated visual condition assessments of various pavement types including, paved (bituminous, concrete and block) and unpaved roads.
- Undertake iRAP coding and pavement conditions distress assessment.
- Continuously liaise with Senior Coders to support project plan deliverables, and provide feedback on progress, toward achieving targets within established timeframes.
- Adhere to and comply with regulations, quality standards and SOPs to ensure tasks are executed and completed in the prescribed manner.
- Maintain effective working relationships (both internal and external), to provide the highest level of service.
- Identify and solve problems creatively whilst demonstrating a high level of integrity in line with ARRB Systems India’s core values.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- A B-Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering or similar.
- Sound knowledge of coding pavement distresses or iRAP safety assessments.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (minimum basic level); Relevant discipline-specific software programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including English language proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well within a team.
- A valid driver’s license is advantageous.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in vehicle/system assembly, maintenance, and commissioning.
- Assist with equipment calibration, verification, validation, testing and maintenance of vehicle mounted road survey equipment and sensors as needed. Update maintenance, calibration, and other documentation as necessary.
- Provide first level support to field crews as necessary, over the phone and/or on-site (as required). Logging of support requests and escalation to 2nd or 3rd level support.
- Review all new and updated Manuals, Procedures and Work Instructions relevant to position and provide feedback on improvements required.
- Operate data-collection computers and equipment to collect pavement surface and structural condition, geometry, and video imaging data.
- Comply with all OSHA and ARRB quality and operating procedures and policies as required.
- Willingness to travel, sometimes for extended periods, throughout the USA and occasionally overseas.
SKILLS
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft platforms including Windows and Office 365.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving ability for PC related hardware, software, IP networks and electromechanical sub-systems.
- High level communication & interpersonal skills with people at all levels.
- Ability to manage own work and time to achieve key milestones work to tight timeframes.
- Mechanical/electrical knowledge preferred, specifically relating to vehicles.
- Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical design/installation drawings.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To efficiently and safely operate and maintain equipment on behalf of ARRB Systems India, ensuring surveys are successfully executed and in accordance with the necessary specifications of compliance.
- Calibrate the surveying equipment strictly in accordance with the specified procedures and guidelines.
- Maintain accuracy of data by ensuring equipment calibrations are done as per the recommended intervals.
- Perform mechanical / electrical maintenance on the equipment, as required.
- Provide daily feedback during projects, sharing results, obstacles with applicable stakeholders.
- Ensure equipment checklists are completed in a diligent and honest manner to contribute to troubleshooting and performance monitoring of equipment.
- Complete weekly and daily route planning for each project cycle allocation, utilising a geographic information system (GIS) to plot the most economical travel and survey route.
- Adhere to and comply with regulations, quality standards and SOP’s to ensure tasks are executed and completed in the prescribed manner.
- Ensure surveys are successfully completed and in accordance with the necessary specifications of compliance, as outlined by the Project Technical Leader.
- Adhere to good housekeeping practice by maintaining a high level of neatness and cleanliness inside and outside vehicles and the workshop, ensuring tools and equipment are utilized in a safe manner and kept in good condition.
- Identify and report risks or areas of concern to management within area of responsibility.
- Maintain effective working relationships (both internal and external), to provide the highest level of service.
- Identify and solve problems creatively whilst demonstrating a high level of integrity in line with ARRB Systems India core values.
- Work within the ARRB Systems Integrated Management System Quality, OHS and Environmental requirements and guidelines, making recommendations for improvement where necessary.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- At a minimum, an Advanced Certificate in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic) is required, and a National Diploma in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic) is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years operational experience working with electronic components (relays, fuses, wiring, fault testing etc.) and mechanical equipment (hydraulic systems, lifting equipment, etc.); fault finding and analysis.
- Basic artisan skills (soldering; basic cutting, machining, and welding; basic electrical.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Ability to travel for up to 2-3 weeks, or more, at a time and work weekends.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including English language proficiency (read, write, and speak).
- Ability to work well within a team.
- 1-2 years’ Experience in working in a workshop is advantageous.
- Professional Registration would be advantageous.
- Ideally based in Hyderabad, India.

- Perform basic data processing and assist with processing, checking and management of collected roadway data as needed.
- Assist with equipment calibration, verification, validation, testing and maintenance on survey equipment and sensors as needed.
- Assist equipment assembly specialists during installation of new equipment.
- Drive, operate, and troubleshoot high-tech data collection vehicles mounted with various sensors to collect pavement and roadway data, along with another operator/driver as part of a survey crew.
- Comply with all OSHA and ARRB Quality procedures and policies as required.
- Attend training programs to learn about upgrades and improvements to survey vehicles and equipment.
- Must be able to travel for up to 75% (field/office ratio is 75/25) during peak season.

Our ideal candidate will primarily focus on the assembly, manufacture, calibration and installation of vehicle based electronic road survey equipment.
